Titans Agree to Terms with First Round Pick Taylor Lewan

Frederick Breedon

Ruston Webster announced a few minutes ago that the Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with first round pick Taylor Lewan.  The Titans, first the second year in a row, are the last team to sign the first rounder.  The good news here is that Lewan, unlike Chance Warmack, will not miss any camp.

The offensive tackle battle during camp is going to be a fun one to watch.  You have two veterans in Michael Roos and Michael Oher that are assumed to be the starters at this point, but Lewan will have a lot of say in that.  If he plays really well early in camp, he will probably unseat Oher at right tackle.

Roos is arguably the team's best offensive player and is entering the last year of his deal.  Lewan will be the Titans long-term left tackle, but that will probably have to wait until 2015.
