There are a lot of high expectation surrounding Justin Hunter as he enters his second NFL season. The 2013 second round pick had 18 catches for 354 yards and 4 touchdowns in his rookie year. Those numbers don't jump off the page at you, but he made some spectacular plays along the way.
There is no question that he has the physical ability to be a star in this league. Michael Preston is so impressed with his physical abilities that he compared him to one of the all-time greats (via John Glennon):
I know how great a player Randy Moss was, and in my mind, there's no reason Justin can't be the next greatest player … I just want to be there to support him. I know he's going to grow, make a great leap this year, and impress the city and fans with his talent.Preston might want to pump the breaks a little bit on that one, but it is not the first time to comparison has been made. I remember when Hunter and Da'Rick Rogers arrived at the University of Tennessee they were supposed to be Moss and Terrell Owens.
It didn't quite turn out that way for the legendary Derek Dooley, but maybe Hunter can live up to that hype with the Titans.
