The Titans came to terms with their second pick of the 2014 draft in Bishop Sankey today. Can the FO beat their own historical trend for being one of the last teams to get all their picks under contract? I'm not so sure, but I'm hopeful that Lewan won't miss some training camp as prior first rounders have due to the issue.

Former Chiefs cornerback, Brandon Flowers, has apparently been contacted by 10 or more teams for his services. Whether the Titans are one of those ten is yet unclear, but initial reports would indicate that they are. It'll be worth watching to see where he ends up, but he'd be a welcome addition on a Tennessee cornerback corps lacking in experience.

The World Cup has been full of goals so far, which should certainly appeal to those undecided fans among you, who often complain of the prevalence of low scoring affairs in soccer in general. A congratulations to the US national team for beating their own demons in the defeat of Ghana, third time's the charm, right?
