We haven't looked at enough mock drafts over the last 5 months, #amIright?. Anyway, there is going to be a lot of discussion today about who the Titans will target tonight. A lot of that discussion will talk about a running back, but I don't think they can afford to pick a running back without a 3rd round pick. They need help on defense.
Rob Rang has put out a second round mock, and he has the Titans taking Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame at 42. I haven't done a lot of work on Nix, but Rang's analysis of the pick is a little scary:
The Titans' switch to the 3-4 likely means a focus on front seven defenders in the draft. Nix carries some red flags but would be a nice schematic match.
The Titans really don't need another pick that has red flags after taking Taylor Lewan in the first round.
Do you think Nix would be a good pick for the Titans if the first nine picks play out like Rang predicts?
