Titans agree to terms with five undrafted free agents; waive Quinn Johnson

The Titans will not be carrying two fullbacks this year!

Thomas B. Shea

The Titans invited 20 players to try out this past weekend during rookie mini-camp.  They have agreed to terms with 5 of those players, WR Julian Horton, RB Waymon James, OL Viondy Merisma, CB Winston Wright and OLB David Gilbert, according to the team's official site.

They had to waive some players in order to sign those guys. The players released include FB Quinn Johnson, CB George Baker, LB Jamal Merrell and WR Eric Ward (injured), again according to the team's site.

The most notable of those players, obviously, is Quinn Johnson. QJ has been with the team since 2011. He appeared in all 16 games in 2012.

The Titans were the only team in NFL history to carry two fullbacks on their roster at one point last season (I just made that up).

Collin Mooney, who I am a big fan of, is still on the roster. The roster page on Titans Online lists him as a RB and not a FB. That is interesting to me, but it might not mean anything at all.

Do any of the 5 guys they signed today have a shot at making the roster? I welcome your thoughts in the comments.
