Todd McShay 2015 NFL Mock Draft

New, comments

I promise this will be the last NFL mock draft we look at until 2015!

Stephen Dunn

Todd McShay has put out a 2015 mock draft (In$ider).  McShay used Football Outsiders win total projections to determine the order.  They apparently have the Titans at 8-8.  That is higher than most of the national media has them projected.

He has the Titans picking 16th and selecting Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA.  Here is what he had to say about the pick:

Hundley made the smart decision by returning to UCLA for the 2014 season, as he had some improving to do with his throwing ability. But he has all the physical tools to be very good, at 6-3, 222 pounds with good athleticism and a strong arm.

It is no surprising that he has the Titans going quarterback. That is probably a common thought in the national media, and with good reason.

This is a big year for the Jake Locker and the future of the franchise. We talked about make or break year for Locker last year, but this one truly his. Locker's future with the franchise rides on how he plays this season.

Of course best case scenario is that he plays well, the Titans make the playoffs, sign him to an extension and are free to address another need in the draft. Here's to hoping.
