The Browns locked up all-pro corner, Joe Haden, today to the tune of 5 years and $68 million dollars, with $45 million guaranteed...wow.
And just when you thought the Panthers were on the upswing....
Some are calling it and "absolute tragedy", others like myself prefer "incredible comedy". Either way, it doesn't look like Justin Blackmon will play in 2014, and perhaps not even in the NFL at all. In the end of the day, just another case of wasted talent and opportunities. Unfortunately, it's something we see all too much in pro sports.
There were some nice stories out the past few days about new Titans Bishop Sankey and DaQuan Jones that are well worth the read. My fine co-writers here at MCM have done a great job providing everyone with info on the new faces. Thus far, the more I learn about these guys, the better I like our draft overall.
