The Titans add talented LSU QB, Zach Mettenberger, with a no-risk pick in the 6th round. The Titans needed depth behind Locker, with a lack of talent in Charlie Whitehurst and Tyler Wilson.
Mettenberger has plenty of talent, even 2nd round worthy according to more than a few analysts. That said, there are a lot of question marks; medical, maturity, etc. He has the strongest arm in the draft with experience in a pro-style system. This solidifies things behind Locker some, and the risk is low with the LSU signal caller having fell all the way to the 6th, where the Titans traded up to nab him. He fits the Whisenhunt mold and should be a decent project QB to work with, but he's more pro-ready than most of the QBs that have had their name called this year.
I like the pick because I hate the rest of the Titans QBs. How do you guys see it?
