Tennessee Titans meet with Zach Mettenberger

The Titans meet with another QB prospect.

Crystal LoGiudice-USA TODAY Spor

The Titans met with LSU QB, Zach Mettenberger in Baton Rouge recently. This is but the latest in a busy visit schedule for both Tennessee and Mettenberger, who has also received calls/visits from the Raiders, Vikings, and Lions. New Head Coach, Ken Whisenhunt, along with GM Rustom Webster are definitely doing their homework on this year's crop of signal callers. Mettenberger's private workout with the team is but the latest indication that the team wants to add an arm somewhere in May's Draft.

Zach Mettenberger showed off impressive arm strength and experience in an NFL-style, Pro offense under Cam Cameron. He also possesses ideal size, and reports out of Louisiana are that he grew into more of a leader his latest year at LSU. However, he will need plenty of work to compete effectively at the NFL level; with questionable vision, composure, and anticipations skills. He would certainly have the offensive minds he needs to groom him if he landed in Nashville.
