Sorry I didn't have this up earlier, school swamped me. Anyway, this week in review is going to be a mock draft which you all can discuss, fight over, mock it, whatever you choose, so here it goes.
I did this mock on Fanspeak's Premium Mock Draft Simulator:
11
QB TEDDY BRIDGEWATER
LOUISVILLE
Best player in the draft falls to number 11, so I had to grab him. Makes the Titans an instant playoff team, and Super Bowls. Had Bridgewater not been here, I would have picked Evans or Donald or Hageman.
51
WR DAVANTE ADAMS
FRESNO STATE
I didn't get the X receiver I wanted in the first so I got one in the 2nd round. Adams is a big strong receiver with good hands that would make our receiving core one of the youngest and best in the NFL. Also looked at Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Allen Robinson, Carlos Hyde, Tre Mason, and Kadeem Carey with this pick. (traded back in 2nd with Bears to pick up an extra 4th)
112
DT WILL SUTTON
ARIZONA STATE
Super disruptive defensive tackle that tried to bulk up last year and it didn't work out for him. Ray Horton could get the most out of this guy.
117
TE C.J. FIEDOROWICZ
IOWA
Do it all TE that was just a value pick at this point. Does a good job blocking and catching, pretty much a younger, cheaper Stevens.
151
DE KAREEM MARTIN
NORTH CAROLINA
Very underrated pass rusher that was the best defensive player on the board at this point.
186
DE JOSH MAURO
STANFORD
Another DE, but let him compete and see how he does. In retrospect, probably would pick a project OT here.
228
RB ISAIAH CROWELL
ALABAMA STATE
Waited until the 7th to pick up the most talented RB in this years draft. However, off the field concerns drop him this low. I figure in the 7th it isn't much as much of a risk and if you have to get rid of him, not much was lost. If he keeps it together off the field we are talking about feature back potential.
Feel free to pick it apart, tell me what you would have done differently, etc.
