The Titans went out and got their man today in Shaun Phillips, and better yet, they got him at a huge discount. I will go out on a limb and say I have never seen a guy get that little money following a 10 sack campaign. The Titans filled a huge need by brining Phillips on board, cutting down the major question marks on defense almost solely down to the inside linebacker position. Phillips' deal was for 2 years, $6 million in case you missed the numbers. Value for money, this is my favorite off-season signing thus far.
In other news, Ravens RB Ray Rice was indicted today on simple assault charges, carrying a 3-5 year prison sentence. Common logic says the Ratbirds part ways with him sooner rather than later.
