Teddy Bridgewater had his pro day yesterday. Ruston Webster and Ken Whisenhunt were one of 6 GM/HC duos in attendance. Teddy will not go in a free fall despite his "lackluster" showing at his pro day. The tape speaks for itself and on tape you see a very intelligent, accurate QB, who can extend plays with his legs, can step up very well in the pocket. His arm is not great but it's good enough. Some people say Aaron Rodgers is his player comp, but I don't think that's completely accurate, Rodgers throws a little better ball. The guy I think Bridgewater compares best to (and I'm stealing this comp from Josh Norris) Tom Brady, in that his physical skill set won't wow you, but his football mind will.
Brian Baldinger thinks Aaron Murray will have the best career of any QB in this draft. I disagree, as I think Murray does a lot of things well, but I think in the end, Bridgewater, possibly Manziel and even Mettenberger will have better careers.
An interesting comp for Aaron Murray is Russell Wilson, who Tony Dungy is a staunch Murray supporter.
Rodgers-Cromartie was signed by the Giants last night, who now have a very formidable secondary with Thurmond and DRC.
Jim Irsay has a serious problem, and maybe it was a blessing in disguise that he finally hit rock bottom on Sunday night. Maybe he'll find help and kick his addiction.
Paul Kuharsky tries to project Wesley Woodyard into the Titans new 3-4 lineup.
Reviewing our free agency thus far, some guys that the Titans looked at that haven't signed include Pat Sims and Akeem Jordan. Jordan is Brandon Spikes lite in that he is a sure run stopper but a little lack luster in coverage. Pairing him and Sims (a run stuffing DT who can also rush the passer), would go a long way in ending our run defense woes.
