Between The Posts: Pay Day

In case you didn't hear, Colts CEO Jim Irsay was arrested last night on DUI and Possession charges...cue the laughter.

Louisville Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater hurt his stock today with a surprisingly mediocre-to-poor showing at his scripted Pro Day workout, with Titans GM Ruston Webster, and Head Coach, Ken Whisenhunt, in attendance. He would be Best Player Available at 11, and realistically he never gets to that point. He is the only Quarterback I would take in the first round outside of Manziel (possibly), but I think Whisenhunt is ready to roll with Locker, and rightly so. I think Bridgewater's stock will ultimately be unaffected, and he will go No.1 overall.

No signings to report involving the Tennessee Titans, but Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie got paid by the New York Giants to the tune of 5 years, $39 million, with $14 million guaranteed...so there's that, as well as any hope of replacing Verner. Realistically the Titans were never going to pursue a high-profile corner, let alone pay that exorbitant price. Champ Bailey is still out there...any takers?

The rest of the thread is up to you, as usual. Take it where you will.
