Titans release Ryan Fitzpatrick

The man with a nice beard and a couple of fun nicknames, Ryan Fitzpatrick, has been released by the Tennessee Titans.

The Amish Rifle has taken his last snap for the Titans.  There will be no Fitz Magic in 2014....and on and on it goes.  This is because, as most of you know, the Titans agreed to terms with the illustrious Charlie Whitehurst yesterday.  He will be the backup in 2014.

As I said yesterday, none of this matters.  The Titans are screwed if either of these guys are taking significant snaps.

The Titans do save some money against the cap with this move, but who are they going to spend it on?
