That is Jim Wyatt reporting that Charlie Whitehurst is here today talking to the Titans. Whitehurst was with Ken Whisenhunt last year in San Diego, and Wyatt says he could see something happening with the Titans and Whitehurtst. That would obviously mean that Ryan Fitzpatrick would then be cut.
All of this doesn't really matter to me. If this team is going to win in 2014 it is going to have to be with Jake Locker under center. If he is hurt or doesn't play well the season is screwed anyway. It doesn't make any differnce if it is Fitzy or Whitehurst taking the snaps.
The big benefit here would be that Whitehurst would be cheaper than Fitzpatrick. That would free up money to spend on....
