NFL free agency 2014: Titans and Alterraun Verner in talks

New, comments

A lot of free agent business goes on at the NFL combine. It sounds like the Titans are doing some work on their two most important free agents.

That is Jim Wyatt reporting that the Tennessee Titans have hope for a new deal with Alterraun Verner.  This tweet really means nothing, but at this point I will take "hope 4 a new deal" because everything else that has been reported has sounded pretty hopeless.

Wyatt also mentioned in another tweet that the Titans are talking with Bernard Pollard's agent at the combine.  The secondary was the best unit on the team last season.  The Titans should be doing everything in their power to keep that group together in 2014.
