Titans' Ken Whisenhunt and Ruston Webster speak at the NFL combine

New, comments

Ken Whisenhunt and Ruston Webster spoke at the NFL combine. As we suspected earlier this week, Chris Johnson and Jake Locker were the main topics of conversation.

The Titans have been non-committal about Chris Johnson's future with the team since the season ended. That didn't change today. Both Ruston Webster and Ken Whisenhunt said they will take their time in making the decision. That is all well and good, but there is no way they can bring him back at that number.

Webster also spent a lot of time saying good things about Jake Locker. We really shouldn't expect them to do anything differently right now. He is there guy right now.

Whisenhunt also said there is reason to believe that a turnaround can happen this season, according to Mike Wells of ESPN.com:

"If you look at what happened in Kansas City last year, you never know how things are going to change from year to year," Whisenhunt said Thursday at the scouting combine. "I have a lot of respect for this division. I’ve played teams a number of times here. I’m excited about being in this division and competing."

Make it happen!
