Welcome to yet another off-season nightly open thread! Not a ton of news out on the wire today, except some organization upheaval in Cleveland.
Apparently Haslam, the owner of the Cleveland Browns, doesn't think his management style has been any sort of haphazard. From the outside looking in, the Browns are the worst professional organization in sports. They give Lombardi and Chudzinski a chance to turn around a struggling franchise and overcome the bumps made by the prior staff. They proceed to do the best they can, show signs of turning the team around, and don't even get a chance at a second draft before they are both sacked. Couple that with the fact that they are already hiring positional coaches, aka, going completely out of order and building a staff piecemeal...There is little logic to that team right now.
So now you can all go to bed thankful that Haslam will never own the Tennessee Titans as many expected a few years back.
