With the Superbowl only a day away, I was reminded of the annual look at the viewer ship record. That of course, refers to the Nielsen Ratings for Television. We all love seeing the amazing Superbowl Commercials. The spot for a 30 second slot this year runs around $4 million dollars...yeah. After another strong season in the NFL with viewer ship up yet again, Sunday's Superbowl is expected to blast the record. One of the commercials was leaked apparently the other day, and it's pretty hilarious.
As for the Titans, not much news today. Things are likely to cool down after the team finishes moving around the staff, which is pretty much set at this point, until the first FA period and the combine.
Here's a few other tidbits from around the web today:
The Pro-Soccer transfer window closed yesterday, signaling the beginning of the season's second leg. Lot's of interesting news in the UK market.
There is talk about Unionizing College Football, a $5b a year business....This could get interesting.
The Rams won't be moving to La apparently...yet.
Have a great Saturday and make sure you stack up on snacks for the Superbowl tomorrow. As always, be safe!
