David Climer says that this is a new low for the Titans. This low is the lowest of lows. This team sucks. Both in the way that it is coached and the lack of talent on the field. The offensive line sucks in the first place and we had to start some practice squad guys on it because of injuries. Our two starting receivers (who are wildly inconsistent anyway) were out injured. There is 1 good player on defense and maybe 3 promising players. The rest of it is absolute garbage. Now the only reason we had to watch the Titans this year (Zach Mettenberger) is probably out for the rest of the year. What exactly did we do to deserve this and how did we get here?
I think Whisenhunt should be fired. I think that Ruston Webster should be fired. I think that we should hire someone inventive and flexible. Gus Malzhan is 100% my first choice, he might be the best offensive mind alive and changes his scheme to fit the players. That is what I want. Look at the Patriots. They change their offense week to week to not only fit their personnel, but to exploit their opponents weaknesses. They change their defense year by year to fit personnel and also opponents. Why can't we do that? 1. Our coaches suck. All of them. 2. There aren't many teams in the NFL that have this many crappy players. Whoever is the coach/GM next year, good luck reaching the Super Bowl in 2016, we are going to suck for the long haul. I geniunely think Mett can be a good, or even very good NFL quarterback, but not many, if any, QBs can win with what is around him. The Titans could probably take a pure BPA approach in the draft, because every single spot on this roster is a need besides LT, 3 tech, and maybe QB.
Paul Kuharsky blames Mett's injury in part on Whiz's stubbornness.
Marqueston Huff got a pick 6. Only bright spot of the game.
