Tennessee Titans get the second overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft

The Titans get their draft spot.

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

Despite the Bucs winning nearly all of the game, the Titans have ended up with the second overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft after they lost to the Saints.

To get to the first overall pick, the Titans needed to lose to the Indianapolis Colts, and they needed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to beat the New Orleans Saints in a divisional battle. This is how those two games shook out.

Colts at Titans: 27-10 Colts

The Titans offense looked completely inept, but they were only surpassed by the defense's inability to take the ball away at any point. The Titans are one of the worst teams in football, and many (including writers here at MCM) believe that they are the worst team in the league.

The Colts with a backup offensive line, their third string running back, and no legitimate pass rusher beat the Titans in ever phase.

Saints at Bucs: 23-20 Saints

This one went down to the wire. On one hand, you had Drew Brees playing one of the worst games of his career. On the other, the Bucs clearly weren't resigned to give up this game. In the end, a late touchdown by the Saints and the Bucs not being able to rally for a late game surge, led to the loss.
