Tennessee Titans News Links: Extreme Makeover, Titans Edition

This season has sucked. There's not getting around that. Between players not playing well and coaches not playing to those player's strengths, it has not been great. This offseason, expect a huge makeover, as the Titans coaches decide who fits their systems and who needs to go. I'm interested in this especially on defense, as there are a lot of opportunities to get rid of players with hefty contracts (Griffin, Wimbley).

Ex-Titan, Donnie Nickey, had a really tough time coping with life after football. Thankfully Rob Bironas and his wife were there for him. This is a really eye opening story on the struggles to adapt, and the need for community or fellowship.

At the Titan's Christmas Party, Taylor Lewan was Santa, and Zach Mettenberger was an elf. Pretty hilarious.

In this week's Ask Mike, the question is asked whether or not Ken Whisenhunt will be fried or not. I think no, but I also think he won't be fired.
