The Tennessee Titans have had a rough season so far to say the least, and got some even worse news today as young wideout Justin Hunter was put on IR after suffering a lacerated spleen in last week's game against the Texans. In fact, this may be the worst squad the Titans have fielded since they came to town, and will have to go at least 2-2 to close out the season to match the poorest performing Titans team, and that looks incredibly doubtful at this juncture. Another fun stat; the Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Jets are the only teams with less net points than the Titans, who have a horrifying -125 number to their discredit. The Titans are also: worst in the NFL defending the run, allow the most points per game in the entire league, and are 29th in points scored per game.

Sobering stuff. What can the Titans do to change things around for next season? And, given time, can Whisenhunt and co get the job done? I made my viewpoints clear the other day. What say you?
