Tennessee Titans News Links: PRIMETIME FOOSBALL

Your daily serving of Titan linkage!

Don McPeak-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans play tonight, but I'm sure there will be a lot of events going on that will be vastly more interesting than the game. Blake Bortles, who has had a terrible year, yet managed a decent/good game against us IIRC, will face Charlie Whitehurst. Those two names alone make this matchup a must watch and probably the best quarterback duo since the epic (but probably hypothetical) matchup of Trent Dilfer and Rex Grossman. So get out your popcorn, heavy gravity beers, and enjoy the last prime time matchup of the year for the Titans.

Paul Kuharsky says blitzing whoever the QB is of the Jags as much as possible will lead to success. Good thing we combine blitzing and YOLO gapping on almost every single play.

Wright says they will try to put on a show tonight. Tough chore for a team that was just bested by Geno Smith.

Could the injury to McCluster mean more throws to Sankey? One would think so, but this coaching staff's line of thinking is not in line with any reasonable stream of consciousness.

Where could Nate Washington end up next year?

Quote of the Day: "“I hate being in the training room and doing some of the things they have me doing while I can’t be out there with my teammates. It’s no fun. I’d much rather be out there practicing and going to war with my brothers."-Kendall Wright
