Report: Titans signing QB Jordan Palmer

Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Titans are signing Jordan Palmer:

It is no surprise that the Titans are adding a quarterback with both Zach Mettenberger and Jake Locker on the shelf with shoulder injuries. That leaves Charlie Whitehurst as the only healthy QB on the roster. That is not a good place to be behind a terrible offensive line.

Palmer was selected in the sixth round by the Washington Redskins back in 2007. He has spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills over the past 8 years.

He is the younger brother of Carson Palmer.

The Titans will have to make a corresponding roster move. That move has not been announced yet.
