The Ravens apparently believe they don't need any corners against the Titans

Baltimore cleaned house in the defensive backfield yesterday.

Last week Ben Roethlisberger threw for 340 yards and 6 touchdowns against the Baltimore Ravens.  The Ravens have responded to that by cutting two of their corner backs, Chykie Brown and Dominique Franks.  Those moves left them with Lardarius Webb as the only healthy corner on their roster.

Of course they made a couple more moves yesterday afternoon to add some corners.  They promoted Tramain Jacobs, an undrafted rookie, from their practice squad.  They also claimed Danny Gorrer off waivers.

This is nothing but good news for Zach Mettenberger and his receivers.  Maybe this is finally the week that we finally see these receivers but up the numbers we all hoped they would put up before the season started.
