It is going to be tough to watch this team play the rest of the year. The one thing that was exciting every week was seeing the progress of Zach Mettenberger. He went down today with a shoulder injury. We still don't know the severity of that injury at this point, but it didn't look good. Jake Locker came in and looked like the inconsistent quarterback that he is.
All of that really should have been expected. The Titans entered the game with 3 of their 5 starting offensive lineman injured. That is never good when you are about to face J.J. Watt, or any NFL team for that matter. It was ugly throughout.
The thing that I don't understand is how the defense is so bad. They gave up 6 touchdown passes to Ryan Fitzpatrick. 6. To Ryan Fitzpatrick. The failure to address the corner back position in the offseason was a terrible mistake.
