Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles went down yesterday with a broken collarbone. That means Mark Sanchez, a.k.a. The Sanchize, will be taking over. Does that make him a must add in fantasy football?
Let's look at it from two different sides: the offense he is taking over and his talent level.
From a system perspective, you have to like Sanchez's opportunity to put up points. He is surrounded by really good weapons and coached by a guy who likes to go fast and score points in bunches.
However, from a talent perspective, Sanchez is limited. He isn't terrible by any means, but he also isn't going to light the world on fire with his ability. Of course you could also say the same thing about Nick Foles, and his numbers have been good in that offense.
Here is what Sigmund Bloom, who is a fantastic follow on Twitter for fantasy football purposes, had to say about adding Sanchez:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Sanchez at least equal of 2014 Foles in terms of passing ability/decision-making, a little more athletic, and seems to be confident again</p>— Sigmund Bloom (@SigmundBloom) <a href="https://twitter.com/SigmundBloom/status/529296352782479362">November 3, 2014</a></blockquote>

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>a must unless guys like Palmer/RG3/Tannehill on WW for some reason RT <a href="https://twitter.com/Odd_Hack">@Odd_Hack</a> You're adding Sanchez if you're a Foles owners?</p>— Sigmund Bloom (@SigmundBloom) <a href="https://twitter.com/SigmundBloom/status/529295841022849025">November 3, 2014</a></blockquote>

So the bottom line here is that you probably have a better option on your roster, or maybe even on the waiver wire in your league, than Sanchez, but if not, he is a guy with some upside.
