(5) TCU at Texas 7:30 PM Fox Sports 1
- The Horned Frogs are in the hunt for a playoff berth but need some outside help (a win against Texas and hoping for a Mississippi State loss to Ole Miss). TCU uncharacteristically had to struggle to put away an abysmal Kansas team last week while Texas had some time off to reflect on three straight wins. Texas is rebuilding under Charlie Strong after years of malaise and inefficient recruiting done by the prior regime. The Longhorns feature a good defense with an inconsistent offense led by a sophomore QB.

LSU at Texas A&M 7:30 PM ESPN
- Both teams have endured rebuilding years after losing their star QBs and multiple draft picks. Both are nonfactors in the toughest division in football due to this fact. LSU has struggled mightily to get anything going on offense and was shut out by a suddenly surging Arkansas team 17-0 last time they played two weeks ago. A&M would have been 0 for SEC West so far had it not been for Auburn fumbling away the game twice in the last minutes. The Aggies and Bayou Bengals are polar opposites of another in that LSU has no offense and A&M has no defense.
LSU prospects to watch:
1. La'el Collins OT 6'5 321 Senior
2. Jermauria Rasco DE 6'3 247 Senior
