Little Texas said it best:
Evan Silva, who is a world-renowned Titans hater, tweeted this earlier today:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>"Hot" but true take: Zach Mettenberger has been the best rookie quarterback so far & I'm not sure it's particularly close. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Titans?src=hash">#Titans</a></p>— Evan Silva (@evansilva) <a href="https://twitter.com/evansilva/status/536890932906692608">November 24, 2014</a></blockquote>

Now, before you jump up and down for you that the Titans have their quarterback of the future, keep in mind that this group of rookie quarterbacks has been pretty bad. Blake Bortles, who Jaguars fans told us was the answer, is horrible. He has not progressed at all from week to week. Teddy Bridgewater has been decent for the Vikings.
The only guy, outside of Mettenberger, that has been any good is Derek Carr in Oakland. He has shown quite a bit of promise. The Raiders might actually finally have a guy that can be their guy.
With all of that being said, Silva never says anything positive about the Titans. NEVER. So he has seen something he really likes in Mett, and that seems to be a popular decision. There is still a lot of the season left, but if Mettenberger keeps making progress there is no reason that he shouldn't be the starter in 2015. They can win with him.
That also frees the Titans up to address their other 21 needs in the upcoming draft.
