Between The Posts: Rising To The Challenge

Your nightly OT open thread.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans face a big test when they take on the Eagles. Fleet-of-foot Philly score a lot of points and have a defense that goes sack-happy when playing at home. Staying competitive with these guys would look really good for Tennessee. But like August and I were saying the other night on MCM Radio, we've yet to see if Tennessee has shaken it's bad habit of falling flat after posting a solid performance the week before. Can they break the long-standing trend on Sunday? After all, the Eagles have never beaten the Titans (0-4), and the last time the teams met Kenny Britt went off for 200+ yards and three TDs. Any given Sunday...

Before I sign off for the night, I wanted to put a link to this article from the Philadelphia Eagles official website. It has some nice illustrations of what the Titans like to do on both sides of the ball. Doing a little football homework is always a fun exercise, after all.

We'll be back tomorrow with some cross-blog content with BleedingGreenNation.com. Have a great night MCM.
