For me, the Titans wide receivers have been the most disappointing group on the whole team.  I was sure that this group would be the best top 3 the Titans had run out there since the move to Nashville.  They have not been.

Part of their struggles are due to the inconsistencies at the quarterback position, but there have been plenty of opportunities for the receivers to make plays and they have failed time and time again.  When you have problems at quarterback, you need the receivers to step up and make the improbable catch or break a tackle.  Instead, these receivers have been dropping passes and falling down when no one touches them.

The stats:

Kendall Wright: 35-350-4

Justin Hunter: 20-351-2

Nate Washington: 17-237-0

And this is the halfway point of the season!  Those numbers are nothing short of terrible.

I give this group an F.  They were supposed to be one of the strengths of the team, but they have ended up being a weakness.  Hopefully they can turn it around in the 2nd half.
