The Titans are now in the bottom four of teams in the league. I have them at the top of the bottom four, but when you are in the bottom four, does it really matter where you rank there? No.
I hope this is rock bottom for the Titans, but they will literally be at the bottom if they lose to the Jaguars at home this week (at least for me).
Here are this week's rankings:
1. Seattle Seahawks (LW:1)
2. Denver Broncos (LW:4)
3. Philadelphia Eagles (LW:3)
4. San Diego Chargers (LW:7)
5. Cincinnati Bengals (LW:2)
6. Green Bay Packers (LW:6)
7. San Francisco 49ers (LW:9)
8. Detroit Lions (LW:5)
9. Indianapolis Colts (LW:11)
10. New England Patriots (LW:13)
11. Atlanta Falcons (LW:8)
12. New Orleans Saints (LW:12)
13. Arizona Cardinals (LW:10)
14. Carolina Panthers (LW:15)
15. Dallas Cowboys (LW:16)
16. Baltimore Ravens (LW:14)
17. Pittsburgh Steelers (LW:18)
18. Kansas City Chiefs (LW:17)
19. Chicago Bears (LW:19)
20. New York Giants (LW:22)
21. Miami Dolphins (LW:20)
22. Houston Texans (LW:21)
23. Buffalo Bills (LW:28)
24. Washington Redskins (LW:24)
25. Minnesota Vikings (LW:23)
26. Cleveland Browns (LW:27)
27. New York Jets (LW:25)
28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (LW:29)
29. Tennessee Titans (LW:26)
30. Oakland Raiders (LW:30)
31. St. Louis Rams (LW:31)
32. Jacksonville Jaguars (LW:32)
Here is where the Titans rank around the internet:
SB Nation: 30
CBS Sports: 30
Blowing a 25-point lead to the Cleveland Browns at home should not happen. The defense is 27th in scoring defense, which isn't good.
FOX Sports: 30
The Titans collapsed in part due to Jake Locker being forced from the game with an injury. However, most of the blame should be directed at a defense that can’t stop the run.NFL.com: 30
That one hurt. And Titans fans are certainly feeling the pain of blowing a 28-3 lead to fall to 1-4.
