The Tennessee Titans have a long week of practice ahead due to their BYE this weekend. Hopefully that will translate into some added preparedness for Zach Mettenberger, as the team readies itself for the Baltimore Ravens in week 10. While there was plenty of debate regarding a fair evaluation on Mettenberger's debut, some solid play from now until the end of the season would be a huge boon for the team's future.
Personally, I was happy with his performance, all things considered. But it's hard to take too much from one game, positive or negative. Getting more pro snaps under his belt (one's for us to pick through and evaluate, no less) will be a huge advantage for him heading into 2015, if indeed he is the man for the job.
Mike Keith talked about the Titans and their stance on Jake Locker at the current time; stating that the Titans have merely "hit the pause button". Like my colleagues, I am more inclined to say that Locker's time is certainly finished in Tennessee. How do you see the Titans QB situation shaking out in the near future?
