Monday Night Football Open Thread: Houston Texans vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Another game in which Titans fans wish there was a way for both teams to lose.

Thomas B. Shea

The Houston Texans, our favorite divisional rivals, take on the Pittsburgh Steelers tonight on Monday Night Football. They kick off at 8:30pm EST. Titans fans will be hard pressed to root for either team here (barring any fantasy football implications), with notable rivalries against both squads.

The Steelers are coming off of a beat down at the hands of the Cleveland Browns, and have a lot to prove in an increasingly confusing AFC North. The Texans, of course, are trying to keep pace with the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South (a race I thought the Titans might have been a member in at the beginning of the season). I see a game that will come down to a turnover or two, but like you, I am wishing there was somehow a way for both of these teams to lose; obscure rule, natural disaster, etc.

I will leave this thread open to discuss the game and make some final predictions. Have a great night MCM.
