Between The Posts: Fallen Titans

Your nightly OT open thread.

It was only a few weeks ago that I was approached by some writing colleagues in regards to the Titans and their relatively thin injury report. Since that cursed point was made, the Tennessee Titans have lost Bernard Pollard, Michael Roos, and Craig Stevens to season ending injuries.

As for the former two, it goes beyond just their level of play on the field. It leaves a leadership void to be filled; a task that, arguably, has yet to be accomplished. While the Titans themselves likely have more resolve than most of the team's fans, there is a cloud of doubt that currently lingers around this team. Do they have the quality on the roster to compete on a weekly basis? Can they be consistent? Can they excel in new schemes implemented by an entirely new coaching staff?

So far, the answer to those questions has been no. Can that change before the season is out? Most certainly.
