The Titans won a game that they absolutely had to have today. It was good to see them take care of business against a bad team. They haven't been so good at doing that in the past couple of years.
The best news of this game was the play of the young guys on the team. Avery Williamson had a very nice game in the middle of the defense. Blidi Wreh-Wilson looked like a real life NFL corner. Marqueston Huff made a couple of nice plays. Bishop Sankey got the most work of his young career and had a nice game.
Charlie Whitehurst passed for a career-high 233 yards. He played well enough to keep the Titans.....
OK, so that is what I had written before the Jaguars scored a late TD and recovered the onside kick. I don't really know what to say about the last few minutes there, but the Titans hung on to win. That is really all that matters, I guess.
This team has some good young players. That is the good thing to take away from this game. It is not going to make them a playoff team this year, but it at least gives some hope for the future.
