Johnny Manziel is going to be one of the more interesting prospects this draft season. There is no doubt he is a playmaker, and he has the arm to play in the NFL, but there are some other concerns when it comes to Johnny Football.
One is his height, but guys like Drew Brees and Russell Wilson have done a decent job at ending the thought that you have to be 6'2 to play QB in the NFL, but there are still some that subscribe to the theory.
Another is his weight. He is going to need to bulk up a little bit or he is going to get killed running around like he does in the NFL.
Then there is all of the off the field stuff with Maziel. He hasn't done anything illegal, but there are still going to be concerns about football.
To me, he is just being a 21 year old kid. The only question is how much of that will he be willing to put aside to make the time commitment required to be a franchise quarterback.
What are your thoughts on Johnny Football at the next level?
