ESPN is reporting that Mike Munchak is among the top candidates for the Penn State job.

This situation is pretty funny.  Mike Munchak, as of this moment, is under contract to an NFL team, yet he is being listed as one of the top candidates for a college job by ESPN.  There have been a lot of rumors about Munchak and Penn State.  Apparently those rumors aren't going away.

I don't see Munchak to Penn State happening.  He has been in the NFL for so long, and it just doesn't make sense that he would want to go to a college job and recruit.

It is interesting also to see James Franklin's name on the list.  That dude's name has come up in every job search for the last two years.  He has reached the ceiling at Vanderbilt.  He needs to jump soon, if he actually has the opportunity.
