I guess it doesn't really matter, but it bothers me that Tommy Smith couldn't get on a plane and fly to team headquarters for this meeting. I get that the coaches had to go to Houston to see Bud Adams because he was in poor health, but that is not the case with Smith.
It is hard to see how this franchise is going to ever get on the right track with the management set up the way it is. Smith had a chance to be team president when the team first came to Nashville but refused to move here. If he doesn't care enough about the franchise to move here, how in the world is he going to know how to do what is right?
He isn't, and that sucks for the fans.
