This is old news, but it hasn't been talked about yet on the site. I wonder how hard of a decision this was for Mike Munchak. He probably has a deep rooted hatred for the Pittsburgh Steelers dating back to the days of the AFC Central. Now he will be wearing the black and gold and waving a dishrag- OK that made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.
It probably will be nice for Munch to be back home. He is from Scranton, PA (home of Dunder Mifflin). Pittsburgh is on the other side of the state, but it is a heck of a lot closer than Nashville.
Munchak is a heck of an offensive line coach. He will do a really good job up there for the Steelers considering he has some good, young talent to work with on that offensive line. That was something that he never really had here because they stopped taking offensive lineman early after Munch turned late round draft pick after late round draft pick into quality offensive linemen.
It should also be noted that the Steelers are scheduled to visit LP Field in 2014. That will probably be a really weird day for Munch. It will be interesting to see if the Titans do any type of acknowledgement of him being there. He did spend his entire adult life with the franchise. What do you think? Should he get a pre-game video tribute?
