The 2014 Super Bowl is all set. The Seattle Seahawks will be facing the Denver Broncos in New York for the title. The game will kickoff at 5:20 central time and air on FOX. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will be on the call.

This will be Peyton Manning's third appearance in the Super Bowl. He is 1-1 in those two games when he was with the Colts. This is probably the best supporting cast that Peyton has ever had around him.

Seattle has enjoyed home field advantage for the last few weeks. They are really tough to beat at home. How will they fair on a neutral field? It is too early to tell, but with that defense they are going to be a tough out wherever they play.

The weather will be a huge part of the story leading up to the game. It is too far out to predict with much accuracy, but you can bet that it will be cold. The big question is will there be snow?

I don't know about any of that, but I do know that I always, ALWAYS root against Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl. That has been my #1 rule of football since I was a wee lad!

So what are you initial thoughts on this year's big game? Who will you be rooting for?
