Adam Caplan of Sirius/XM Radio is reporting (via CBS Sports) that the Pittsburgh Steelers have signed Fernando Velasco to replace Maurkice Pouncey who was lost for the year yesterday with a torn ACL. The Steelers are extremely lucky that Velasco is sitting out there available. He is a quality starter in this league, and while he is not as good as Pouncey, there will not be as big of a drop off as there was with the guy they ran out there yesterday.
It makes me sad to see Velasco go to the Steelers because I really don't like them, but I am glad to see him get on a team. He did a really nice job for this team during his time here.
