I am sure most of you are familiar with Grantland. If you aren't, check it out. It is a pretty cool site. Anyway, Bill Barnwell, formerly of Football Outsiders, wrote an extensive piece about Jake Locker today.

What I'll be watching for is that final step Locker has to make to go from being a promising quarterback to a prosperous one. He needs to stop being the guy who can make all the throws and become the guy who does make all of them.
I think that is fair at this point. We have seen him make all the throws. We know he can, but he now needs to do it consistently. That is what is going to take him from being just another quarterback to a really good quarterback. His progression this year leads me to believe that he can do it.
