First we had the uproar over Chance Warmack saying J.J. Watt was just another guy. Then we had the ridiculousness that was the equal fines for Kareem Jackson and Bernard Pollard. Now we have a feud between Rob Turner and J.J. Watt.
It all stems from this play:
Turner says he apologized to Watt after the play. Watt says that he gave Turner and ear full about the block after the play. Turner says that isn't true because Watt wouldn't even look at him after the play, according to Jim Wyatt:
"Whether you call it an apology or whether you call it a professional courtesy, I was trying to say, ‘Hey I wasn’t going after you like that, and you can see that on film,’ " Turner said. "And it bothered me he made a big stink about it. "For the record, he wouldn’t even look at me, and I don’t have a problem if you put that in print. In fact, I’d encourage you to put that in print and he’s full of it by saying that."
This is going to be a full rivalry for the next few years.
