Chance Warmack had a rough day on Sunday against J.J. Watt. There is no way around that, but to be fair, there are a lot of guards that have put up similar performances against Watt in the last couple of years. That is not making excuses for Warmack who they drafted to slow down Watt, it is just pointing out that there is a reason Watt is the reigning defensive player of the year.
Warmack said this to Jim Wyatt yesterday about Watt:
"He’s just another guy, a talented dude, but he puts his helmet on just like me," Warmack said on Monday. "I am not going to give him any more credit than he deserves. He’s a talented player. But everybody has a weakness, and he does too."
Apparently that comment is UNACCEPTABLE. At least that is what guys like John McClain:
So Chance Warmack tells @jwyattsports Watt is just another guy after 2 sacks, 2 more tackles for loss, 5 tackles overall and a deflection.

And Michael David Smith of PFT would lead you to believe.
I, for one, am glad that Warmack isn't building this guy up. He obviously respects him as a football player. That's enough.
