Titans vs Texans: 3 MVPs

New, comments

Who stood out in the Titans matchup with the Texans.

Scott Halleran

The Titans lost, but they didn't go down without a fight. Late in the game the Titans had a eight point lead, but couldn't finish the job. So who stood out?

Game Ball #1 Zach Brown

Brown didn't spend much time rushing the passer this week, instead he spent his time covering targets. Brown had more tackles than anyone else on either team, and he was only obviously out of place one time that I saw. Brown seems to be a very versatile piece and the Titans are putting a lot on his shoulders.

Game Ball #2 Delanie Walker

Walker blocked very well and even caught a pass for a TD. Walker looks like the moveable back that the Titans thought they were getting this offseason and it will be interesting to see how he is used in the future.

Game Ball #3 Alterraun Verner

Easily the best player for the Titans today, Verner was outstanding. Verner is credited with four pass deflections and a pick-six. Verner showed Titans coaches and fans alike that he deserved to be the starting CB, and when the Titans match up with less experienced QBs I predict he will have big days.
