NFL Power Rankings Week 2

Jommy is diving into a weekly NFL power rankings post. Feel free to sound off in the comments about where I ranked different teams.

Jason Bridge-USA TODAY Sports

Doing NFL power rankings after just one week is probably a little bit silly, but it isn't as silly as doing them before the season (for whatever that's worth). Here is how I think the teams stack up after one week of play:

1. San Francisco 49ers

They looked to pick up right where they left off last season.  Colin Kaepernick is scary good.

2. Denver Broncos

I declared Peyton Mannning done after the neck surgeries.  I will take my crow well done, please.

3. Seattle Seahawks

They struggled with the lowly Panthers a little bit, but they will be just fine.

4. New England Patriots

They keep changing out the parts.  Tom Brady keeps getting it done.

5. New Orleans Saints

Drew Brees is really good.

6. Houston Texans

Showed a lot last night in coming back from a huge deficit.

7. Green Bay Packers

Tough loss in week 1, but they won't be down long with that offense.

8. Atlanta Falcons

See comments on the Packers.

9. Chicago Bears

Jay Cutler chucks it around the yard with no concern for where it goes.  It worked this week.

10. Cincinnati Bengals

Maybe we shouldn't crown them just yet.

11. Baltimore Ravens

Shaky start for the Super Bowl champs, but they will make some noise. (and I hate them)

12. Dallas Cowboys

Am I the only won that thought they were going to lose that game Sunday night until the clock hit 0?

13. Detroit Lions

A lot of weapons for Matthew Stafford this season. Can the defense stop anyone?

14. Indianapolis Colts

Struggled to beat the second worst team in the league.

15. Philadelphia Eagles

They are going to be so much fun to watch this year, but Michael Vick got hit a lot last night. Can he hold up?

16. St. Louis Rams

Jared Cook is the greatest tight end in the history of the league. #vomit

17. Kansas City Chiefs

There is a lot of talent up there, and Andy Reid will do a better job of using it correctly.

18. Washington Redskins

RG3 didn't look 100% for most of that game last night. Can he bounce back?

19. New York Giants

Why David Wilson? Why???!??!?

20. Minnesota Vikings

Adrian Peterson is good at running the football.

21. Tennessee Titans

Statement win to start the season.

22. Miami Dolphins

Bienvenido a Miami

23. Pittsburgh Steelers

They might be in for a free fall here.

24. Carolina Panthers

I hate Cam Newton.

25. New York Jets

Geno Smith played well. How long will that last?

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

27. Arizona Cardinals

They finally found someone that can throw the ball to Larry Fitzgerald.

28. San Deigo Chargers

Thanks for nothing.

29. Buffalo Bills

Not a bad debut for E.J. Manuel.

30. Cleveland Browns

Brandon Weeden.  Yeesh.

31. Oakland Raiders

At least we aren't the Jaguars....

32. Jacksonville Jaguars

But our helmets are really sparkly....
