NFL power rankings 2013: Where should the Titans be ranked after Week 1?

New, comments

The Titans put a beat down on the Steelers in week 1. Now they prepare to face Arian Foster and the Houston Texans in week 2. Where should they be ranked in week 2 NFL power rankings?

Jason Bridge-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans were the 28th ranked team in last week's SB Nation power rankings. That list was compiled by the SB Nation NFL bloggers during the week leading up to the season. That seemed a little bit low to me, but you can see why they were there based on last year's performance.

Today various media outlets across the internet will release their week 2 power rankings. Where should the Titans be ranked?

Here are last week's rankings:

  1. 49ers
  2. Seahawks
  3. Broncos
  4. Packers
  5. Falcons
  6. Patriots
  7. Texans
  8. Ravens
  9. Bengals
  10. Saints
  11. Redskins
  12. Giants
  13. Colts
  14. Steelers
  15. Bears
  16. Cowboys
  17. Lions
  18. Panthers
  19. Rams
  20. Chiefs
  21. Vikings
  22. Eagles
  23. Dolphins
  24. Buccaneers
  25. Browns
  26. Chargers
  27. Cardinals
  28. Titans
  29. Bills
  30. Jets
  31. Jaguars
  32. Raiders

It is only one game, but the Titans should be ahead of teams like the Cardinals, Chargers, Browns, Buccaneers and Dolphins in my opinion. That means a conservative jump for the dominant win in Pittsburgh would move them up to 23rd.

That jump will be a lot more next week if they can win in Houston.

Now I leave it with you, where should the Titans be ranked in NFL week 2 power rankings?
