NFL Roster Cuts Deadline 2013

New, comments

The deadline to get to 53 active players for every NFL team looms. Here is everything you need to know.

Hannah Foslien

When's the deadline? The deadline is 5 p.m. CST on Saturday, August 31st. All 32 NFL teams must be at 53 then.

Can teams make cuts today? Absolutely they can. You will see them start to trickle out around the league throughout the day. The best place to get the quickest information is on Twitter. Follow @TitansMCM for the latest news.

What are they cutting down to? 53 active players. That number does not include players that are on IR or PUP. The Titans will have to make 22 roster moves before the deadline.

What about the practice squad? Every player must clear waivers before they can be added to the practice squad. That means the 31 other teams will have the chance to claim anyone the Titans cut. They can add up to 8 players to their practice squad.

Hope this helps. Use this thread to discuss the cuts as they happen.
